Do you make the cushions?
We specialize in the woodwork and cabinetry. While we do not sew the cushions ourselves, we build the bench to standard dimensions so you can easily buy standard cushions, or we can refer you to a local upholsterer for a custom fit.
Which is better: Drawers or Flip-Top storage?
Drawers are much more accessible for daily use (shoes, toys, games) because you don’t have to remove the cushion to open them. Flip-top storage is better for long-term storage (winter blankets, holiday decor) and is generally more cost-effective to build.
Can you build a seat over a vent or radiator?
Yes. We can incorporate decorative metal grates or toe-kick vents into the design to ensure the heat flows into the room properly, rather than being trapped inside the cabinet.
