Window Replacement & Installation

Stop the drafts and lower your energy bills—with expert carpentry, not high-pressure sales.

Not your typical “Window Guy”

Many window companies operate on a volume model: they want to rip the old unit out and shove the new one in as fast as possible. The problem? They often ignore the water damage, rot, or lack of insulation hidden behind your old siding.

At HomeBase, we approach window replacement as a renovation project. Because we are builders first, we inspect the framing, repair any rotted wood, and ensure your new windows are properly flashed and sealed against the erratic Oklahoma weather.

Which material is right for your home?

  • Premium Vinyl Windows: The most popular choice for a reason. Modern vinyl is energy-efficient, virtually maintenance-free, and comes in a variety of colors (including the popular black exterior).
  • Fiberglass & Composite: For homeowners who want the look of painted wood without the rot risk. These are incredibly strong and resist expanding/contracting in our extreme temps.
  • Wood-Clad Windows: The ultimate in architectural beauty. Real wood interiors for warmth, protected by a durable aluminum jacket on the outside.

We don’t push a single brand; we help you find the right glass package for your budget and your home’s style.

Frequently Asked Questions about New Windows

Why are my current windows “foggy”?

Fog or condensation inside the glass pane means the thermal seal has failed. The insulating gas (Argon) has escaped and moisture has entered. This window is no longer energy efficient and needs to be replaced to stop heat transfer.

What is “Low-E” glass and do I need it?

Absolutely. Low-Emissivity (Low-E) glass has a microscopic coating that reflects heat. In the summer, it reflects the hot Tulsa sun away from your home. In the winter, it reflects your furnace heat back inside. It is standard on almost all our installs.

Will replacing windows damage my stucco or siding?

Not if done correctly. We specialize in “Retrofit” or “Pocket” installation whenever possible, which fits the new window inside the existing frame to preserve your exterior siding and interior trim. If a full tear-out is needed due to rot, our carpentry team repairs the siding so it looks seamless.
