Custom Laundry Room Remodels & Storage
Make “Laundry Day” the best day of the week.
More than just a room for machines.
The laundry room is often the hardest-working room in the house, yet it gets the least amount of design love. If you are battling with wire shelves that can’t hold heavy detergent bottles, or if you’re folding clothes on top of the dryer because you have no counter space, it’s time for an upgrade.
At HomeBase, we turn cramped utility closets into efficient cleaning command centers. We focus on workflow—positioning hampers, folding stations, and drying racks exactly where you need them so you can get the job done faster.
Our Laundry Room Services:
- Folding Stations: Custom countertops installed over front-loading machines.
- Upper Cabinetry: Hiding detergents and supplies behind clean doors.
- Drying Solutions: Built-in drying racks and heavy-duty hanging rods.
- Utility Sinks: Deep basin sink installation for soaking and scrubbing.
Stop treating your laundry room like a dungeon. Let’s build a bright, functional space that actually works for you.
Frequently Asked Questions about Laundry Rooms
Can you put a countertop over my washer and dryer?
Yes, provided you have front-loading machines. This is one of the best upgrades you can make. We build a “waterfall” style counter that spans across both machines, giving you a massive surface for sorting and folding clothes right out of the dryer.
Do you move the plumbing?
We specialize in the cabinetry, countertops, and fixture upgrades. If you want to keep the washer and dryer in their current location (which saves money), we handle everything. If you need to move them to a different wall, we coordinate with a licensed plumber to move the lines before we build.
What materials handle the humidity best?
Laundry rooms see a lot of moisture and chemical spills. We recommend quartz or solid surface countertops that are non-porous and stain-resistant. For cabinetry, we use high-quality enamel paints that seal the wood against humidity.
